LEGAL TRAVEL TO CUBA
Cuba VIP Travel is continuously monitoring changes in policy both in the US and in Cuba, in order to offer a legal, safe, and pleasant travel experience. After the most recent changes of June 6th, 2019, traveling to Cuba under the People to People General License is no longer allowed. However, all the other 11 categories are fully functional.
Under the current regulations of the US Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the General License for Support for the Cuban People ensures that travelers can still visit the island legally. However, travelers must comply with a daily full-time itinerary of activities that ensure meaningful interaction and support for the Cuban civil society. Individual travel can also occur in other categories of travel.
Cuba VIP Travel compliance department will ensure that all travelers are authorized under the current U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations in order to provide personal travel to and from Cuba under a general license.
